SSPC Child Protection Policy
In accordance with the Children Act 1989 and 2004, a child is any person who has not yet reached their 18th birthday. For the purpose of these procedures the reference to children therefore means ‘children and young people’ throughout.

SSPC Vulnerable Adults Policy June 2011
SSPC is involved in providing services for a wide range of people. Some of these people are likely to be ‘vulnerable adults’.

SSPC Data Protection Policy June
SSPC UK needs to collect and use certain types of information about the Individuals or Service Users who come into contact with SSPC in order to carry on our work.

SSPC Confidentiality Policy
SSPC recognises that colleagues (employees, volunteers, interns, trustees) gain information about individuals and organisations during the course of their work or activities. In most cases such information will not be stated as confidential and colleagues may have to exercise common sense and discretion in identifying whether information is expected to be confidential.

This policy explains when and why we collect personal information about our members and instructors, how we use it and how we keep it secure and your rights in relation to it. We will always comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when dealing with your personal data.
